St. Augustine - my pics from January
me and my wife stayed briefly in St. Augustine in January for our wedding anniversary. we had a great time; the local vendors were very friendly with great recommendations on where to go and what to do. here's the pics.

Been there twice, the city center is pretty cool, something you don't see much in the US.

I love St. Augustine. It's a small place, but I never get tired of it's charm.

It's beautiful! It kind of reminds me of the walking atmosphere you would find in my native town back in Cuba... simplicity in architecture and value to pedestrians over vehicles is the kind of urban planning that we are now coming to admire more and more. Surely e very different U.S. city by all its standards... and the Spanish architecture is a PLUS!

Beautiful -but very touristy. It's sort of Florida's version of colonial Williamsburg. I wonder if there are more tourists than there are residents.

Thanks, great pics
![]() St. Augustine is pretty cool. There's history, nice bars, ghost tours, good food, in a way it reminds me a bit of Key West, sans Duval st. of course. Take the tourist train that shows you sights you may pass by without noticing. Also buy some local wine, Fl wines are pretty good.
