I also thought it was a construction truck coz lets be frank, whats the nearest point that he can safely go back to the 'right' carriage?

That makes it even worse. A construction truck? Give me a break! The whole of that lane need to be closed for construction. Period! there should be signs of "construction ahead" followed by barriers. Just few days ago there was a fatal accident between a construction truck and a matatu. Trust me the matatu driver was not the only one to blame. The construction company had a role too.

I noticed they have reconfigured the interchange at Thika into a cloverleaf junction. Really wish I'd have aerial pics of that section.

Last time i was there it was half cloverleaf and the extra curved section was too sharp for my liking. Another road opposite Thika town has been incorporated into the interchange and it necessitated that
