On Africa’s Niger delta, there is an exciting new urban enclave in Yenagoa, Capital of the Bayelsa State, Nigeria — Introducing the Yenagoa City Centre. The City Centre, located on 43 hectares (106 acres) will provide a carefully designed mix of high-end retail, cultural/entertainment and dining, world-class office buildings, a secure luxury residential complex for 2,278 residents, a clubhouse, a school and a hotel. The City Centre will provide its own power and water, being a completely self-sufficient community. All of these are organized around a strong bi-axial arrangement that provides a unique sense of place and beautiful public amenities. Yenagoa City Centre is a unique development that is the first of its kind in Nigeria to set the standard for other developments.

i wonder if any of these kind of project will actually be executed in Bayelsa. I don't know so much about the new governor to know if he is a serious person or just more of the same.

I will believe it when I see it.

Bayelsa State is a joke, they need to start building something.

I hope their new Governor is better than the morons that were Timpere, Alamieyeseigha and Goodluck Jonathan.

The new governor doesn't even have to do much to be considered the best governor bayelsa ever had lol. He can embezzle only 40% of the state's funds and people will still call him a savior for not embezzling 80%+ like past administrations did. I mean, after what Sylva, Jonathan, Alamieyeseigha did to that state, you can only go up from there.
