looks awesome, and Thryve I really suggest have a cinema on the bottom =P it'll be fitting for a residential high-rise for families.

Maybe the basic shape is simple, but the level of detail you add in the cladding and the design of the podium are outstanding.

cityBLOCK update
An update on the latest of my "it's just a boring box" designs...
![]() These sketches show mostly the podium design. The first tower (it's a short one) is almost done and the second one (a little bit taller than the first one) is being designed. You'll get to see them soon. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Beautiful work Thryve, the massing and proportions of the latest scheme work really well for such a huge building. I love your podium treatments. I'd quite like to see some kind of roof garden maybe to soften the overall geometry maybe? Or even a vertical garden up one of the podium facades.

Beat you to it!
There is going to be a "park" on the roof of the podium, as well as another greenspace/terrace on the top of the shorter tower, including a few trees.A green-wall is a good idea; I think I'd be able to incorporate that between some of the facades on the podium. Stay tuned and thanks for the interest, guys! |
