Well, I think they are even complementing the Mississauga skyline quite nicely but I really don't like them as solitaires (the shape is not my cup of tea).

It's a double-edged sword for me: they have a very futuristic appearance and (as said before) definitely complement the skyline very nicely, esp. since Missiossauga (and the whole Toronto metro area) don't have a lot of such towers (in the 'deconstructivism' and similar styles). But alone I don't like them as their proportions don't make any sense at all (imho). I'm not the biggest fan of deconstructivism and weird proportions generally, though.

I quite like them, though they would look even better had they been glad in nicer glass. However, to say they're the best residential buildings to go up in the last 10 years is a bit of a stretch (unless you were talking about within Canada).

I may have over looked something, but I don't recall a residential tower design I prefer to these in a very long time. Actually, I do think Beekman in New York is better. Which residential tower design since 2002 do you prefer? Tour Verre is quite a bit better as well, but I don't think that's even broken ground yet.

How's 2nd best this decade then?
