Yes, I have heard that from the Guess & Stir. They're posting all kinds of tosh on their facebook page to wind up the Wolves fans at the moment. I bet every single headline they post on facebook gets their website another 1000 hits. All they have to include in the headling is "Morgan", "Moxey" or "Connor" and they know that the 'fans' will whip themselves up into an embarrassing frenzy. It's quite amusing to watch this happening 4 or 5 times a day. They've got the fans exactly where they want them

A lot of people who comment on the guess & stir website have emailed wolves to say they want a FULL REFUND if Connor takes over.

If tc was such a brilliant coach why have no teams higher than us signed him up. If he was that great England would have him as part of the coaching set up.

They had "shock transfer rumours" up earlier, with a Wolves head next to it, can't find the link now, but it linked to this article which doesn't even mention the team: http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/...rumours-may-7/

Yes and if it does happen again and they do appoint TC..
Morgan & Moxey have got all you fans where they want you. As muggings who've bought season ticket already for next season. We'll see who'll be embarrassed the most then

PS.Yes and a Wolves fan phoned in tonight on BBC Radio WM and said he complained about the POOR PRODUCT not worthy of the money paid for a season ticket. WWFC did send him his money back as a refund

I wouldn't be embarrassed, I'd be disappointed, but not embarrassed. Only your own conduct can embarrass you personally, not the actions of others. Even if I hadn't already got my season ticket, and they announced TC was to be manager, I'd still buy my season ticket - because (and I know it's weird in this day and age) I'm actually interesting in going to see my local football team playing football. To me, everything else is actually secondary. Oddly, unlike you perhaps, I'd have a season ticket even if we were in the conference. The way I make decisions isn't entirely based on knee-jerk petulance.

Gouldy the majority of the time you do speak a lot of sense. Although you've definitely got more money than sense with the above. If you were like myself losing my job last year and finding it very hard to make ends meet now. You'd have to pick and choose your games. Wouldn't you?
I was very much like yourself in the 70's which was our best era since the 50's for the club. Let's hope this New Stan Cullis Stand is not an omen. Like the New John Ireland Stand was for later in the 80's. When it all went pear shaped then too
I hope not as bad as to the conference though.
At least you won't be lining Moxey's pockets then will you

I can fully understand not having a season ticket for monetary reasons, that's not what I was getting at. It seemed that you had insinuated that you'd had a season ticket, but not renewed it for next season because of this seasons performance, rather than not having a season ticket for funding reasons. Reading back now, I'm not sure why I took that from what you wrote, so I apologise.

That comment wasn't aimed at those who have had to give up a season ticket for monetary reasons, my heart goes out to those people. I'm not rich or anything, not by any means; I've had a season ticket ever since I had a job and have had to budget other things properly in order to afford it - if it got to a stage where I was having to squeeze too tightly in order to afford a season ticket, then I too would have to begrudgingly give it up. I realise that there are many not as fortunate as to be in the position I am in, financially, but I certainly don't have more money than sense

You'd have to reasonably expect that the price of the tickets would drop though, if we were to drop down as far as the conference , not that we will of course.

I am quite looking forward to next season and given that the price is still reasonable in comparison to other leisure activities and I have the funding available, I have no trouble in renewing my ticket regardless of who the manager will be - that was my point. There are plenty of people whose money situations have not changed but have not renewed their ticket for next year for petulant reasons entirely non-related to money; they are the fans who that post was concerning. "Fans" of the team, so long as the team is doing really really well, constantly.

I think that if I had a season ticket and had been seeing dire spineless performances week after week that were leaving me in a state of depression, along with what I perceive to be a lack of inspirational leadership at the club, I would be seriously considering renewing my ticket and maybe looking for something that brought me some enjoyment.

For about 10 years I was paid to watch the club and loved the get together with colleagues who are still good friends, however, during the Hoddle era I simply stopped enjoying the match experience, and the 24 hours of misery and disappointment that followed the majority of matches.
It was this combined with meeting my future wife that broke my habit of attending.

I can understand why people are considering getting refunds following this disillusioning season. Its akin to getting beaten up by a drunken partner, only to be told the next day, "Im sorry. I DO love you and I promise it will never happen again"!!!
Only for it to keep happening. Eventually you get to the point where you are so low you have to leave.

This is probably the most factual news piece to come out if the guess and stir all season!! I am though wondering if their reporters are banned from molineux unless it's a match looking at how the video seems to have been solely shot from Waterloo road and sir jack Hayward way along with any others they have made.

Good post dingle, although you may need to speak to someone at Relate.

From last night's Fan's Parliament.
http://www.wolves.co.uk/page/FansPar...764661,00.html

Quote:
Tim Richards enquired how the new stand was developing. Jez replied: "The stand's coming along well but the schedule is tight. I hope you agree that, inside and out, it looks quite incredible. If it (the extended redevelopment) is finished, it will be the most amazing ground." He revealed that the club were now considering keeping the Stan Cullis Stand for home fans and leaving away fans in the bottom tier of the Steve Bull Stand - an idea that had overwhelming support from the meeting. "We have configurations that cater for a small number of away fans and a large number in the quadrant but we've discussed things internally because next season is different to a Premier League season. We don't want large swathes of empty gold seats in the home areas."

Andy James said he couldn't hear a word over the PA system in the Stan Cullis Stand. Mark Cadman said likewise. Jez promised these problems would be looked at

Les Hughes said fans were upset about the £6 booking fee but Lynne said it was because of the bank. Jez added: "We have spent hundreds and hundreds of thousands of pounds on ticket software - it costs money. I know the booking fee is something you beat us up with. We could hide the extra charge away but prefer to be more transparent."

It was pointed out that a disabled fan who said he stopped going to games about two years ago but now wished to renew his ticket had been told he had to wait until June to do so. Lynne said she was aware of the case, saying: "The person you refer to has specific requirements."

Mike Hughes was told by Lynne that there would be no lift for able bodied supporters going to the upper tier of the North Stand. Matt Pearce said the flags in the North Bank looked fantastic, so why not have them in the South Bank, too? Matt Grayson said the suggestion would be looked at.

... we've had one bad season.

If what you're saying is true, then why are there still people who will go along and support a team that is in league 2, and has been there for the last 10 years? Of course we all want our team to do well, but your criteria for supporting the team is that the team are already doing really well, constantly. Does this not smack of "glory hunting" slightly? If you're from Wolverhampton, shouldn't the team not doing well, be an even better reason for showing support? Like I said before, maybe I'm old fashioned, but I'm more interested in the act of supporting my local football team than i am in anything else that goes a long with that.

The only difference between Wolves and a League 2 team is context. I am still happy to be a Championship side, even though I know that a lot of people are ready to not call themselves Wolves fans anymore over this, despite us having been in the 2nd tier of English Football for the majority of those fans lives

Wolves are for life, not just for the Premier League /\_/\

Didn't even know the webcam had started working again!

They have lots of stuff going on there now that the last home game has been played. Finals of pub leagues and sunday leagues and that sort of thing. A work colleague of mine is playing in a Final for some cup or other at Molineux on Saturday. So I'll have to keep an eye on the webcam on Saturday, see if I can see him

I started supporting Wolves in the 4th division and continued to support them through god knows how many years in the Chump. When I consistently failed to be entertained I became as apathetic as the regime and found myself doing other things rather than go to games.

Just think I can relate to those that are that are currentlt disillusioned and think the general strong criticism of them is harsh.
To clarify, if I were being entertained in the Blue Square Premier I would attend, even with the 300 mile round trip, and I have not followed the glory with another team. I still attend odd games, and watch every Sky game or live stream that I can.

I wish more had been asked about the possible future of the Steve Bull at the FP meeting.

Sadly it looks like "It's when not if" has become just "If".

I get the impression they're really playing down the redevelopment now we're relegated.
