O cautare scurta pe net arata ca aeronava Bombardier CL-600-2B16, inmatriculata in Romania ca YR-DIP, apartine Eurojet Romania. Tot pe acolo mai scrie ca "Eurojet Romania was established in 2004 when The Rompetrol Group decided to create its own Aviation Division".

YR-DIP este nr de inregistrare al Bombardierului Challenger si nu inseamna neaparat ca daca ar renunta la Eurojet trebuie sa renunte si la acest avion/nr inreg. La Eurojet mai sunt 2 Cessna parca.

Sukhoi SuperJet Disappears During Indonesia Demo Flight
A Sukhoi SuperJet 100, the first new Russian passenger plane in more than two decades, disappeared during a demonstration flight in Indonesia with about 40 people onboard.

The Superjet 100 actually has a lot of western technology in it. But let's wait and see before making any dramatic statements; the plane could have crashed (if indeed it did) due to non-mechanical issues like pilot error, terrorism, freak weather, etc.

Avionul s-a prabusit sigur, in momentul asta nu mai are de unde sa aiba combustibil pentru a mai fi in aer, si nu a aterizat nicaieri.

Cel mai probabil CFIT sau dezorientare spatiala a pilotilor, care, cu cateva minute inainte ca avionul sa dispara de pe radar, s-au invartit in jurul unui munte, la altitudine joasa, pentru a demonstra capacitatile si manevrabilitatea avionului. Fiind un zbor demonstrativ e probabil ca pilotii sa fi dezactivat EGPWS (sistemul de detectare si alertare in caz de apropiere excesiva de teren) si sa fi pilotat periculos (mai ales ca pilotii erau fosti piloti militari angajati de Suhoi). Foarte putin probabil ceva mecanic - avionul e nou si foarte modern, si, in comunicatia cu solul, nu s-a anuntat vreo problema sau vreo urgenta. Dar astea nu sunt altceva decat speculatiile mele - intai sa gaseasca epava, apoi o sa vedem raportul si concluziile.

Ce e cert este ca prabusirea va pune probleme foarte mari intregului program SSJ, si pune in pericol intreaga industrie aviatica civila din Rusia, care si-asa de-abia o duce.

P.S. Avioanele rusesti sunt ok tehnologic, un Tupolev sau Iliusin nu e nici ma sigur nici mai nesigur ca un Boeing sau MD sau Airbus de generatie comparabila. Problema vine de la factorul uman (intretinerea avioanelor, modul in care se desfasoara operatiunile de zbor, modul in care se reglementeaza operatiunile de stat, etc., pregatirea echipajului, etc.). Si in Rusia, ca si in alte tari unde opereaza echipament sovietic/rusesc, asta e dezastru! Ipotetic vorbind, m-as simti de 1000 de ori mai in siguranta zburand cu un Tupolev 134A operat de Lufthansa decat intr-un B787 nou-nout operat de vreo linie aeriana secundara ruseasca gen IrAero sau Nordavia.

Yeah, I saw that BS. Well done!

Listen, if this crash turns out to be another case of CFIT, and it very well might, whether you're in a "Russian" aircraft, an Airbus, Boeing, Embraer or wtv doesn't mean squat.

So basically you jumped to conclusions just because you have an irrational fear/hate for Russian aircraft. Actually, I suspect it's more than just aircraft, but whatever.

Sorry to be so harsh, but I'm tired of this crap.

Poate că sunt nişte avioane foarte bune (şi de obicei sunt excepţionale din pdv aerodinamic), īnsă sunt un coşmar pentru operarea de companii non-CSI...Īn primul rānd bariera lingvistică pentru manuale şa, apoi coşmarul logistic (cum e să comanzi piese din Rusia şi să vină... la un moment dat ), foarte puţini mecanici, ingineri şi personal navigant pe "piaţă".Probabil sunt şi alte motive pentru care şi pe piaţa rusească Airbus-ul şi Boeing-ul sunt din ce īn ce mai prezente.

I doubt Robi_damian is an airline CEO or something, hence those points have nothing to do with his fear of Russian a/c.

Also, we're talking about the SSJ, not old Tupolevs and whatnot.

Btw, the talk around this crash reminded me of this...

Intr-adevar, concurenta e mare pe segmentul respectiv, iar sperantele sunt mari cu SSJ-ul, dar, vor merge inainte; nici A320 n-a pornit cu dreptul, la vremea respectiva.

PS: accidentul din filmul pus de Cosmin (la aproape 3 luni de la zborul inaugural)

That's BS. I would pay double if I'd get the chance to fly a Tu154, IL62 or at least an IL96. Planes crash for a lot of reasons and your statement reminds me of that american saying a while ago "if it ain't Boeing I ain't going". That plane is very modern and more than half of the equipment on board is western made. So don't rush to stupid conclusions.

Ei lasa! Poate s-a exprimat omu' cum s-a exprimat, dar asa gandesc multi si nu o fac pentru ca au ceva cu rusii. Multi din ei chiar rusi sunt si nu de putine ori i-am auzit cum comentau cand intrau intr-un avion rusesc.
