When are they going to change back to TC? Today, there is no more reasons to use SC.

SC is confusing and do not represent the full culture of the Chinese written language.

Even though I'm from Taiwan and I love the island, I must say that the level of "standard Mandarin" has decreased significantly in the last 20 years. If you listen to the newscasters in Taiwan today, they just sound horrible. The same goes for many 國語 Guoyu teachers.

you think so, if there is a accent, I think taiwanese still speaks very good Mandarin, the only people that speaks near perfect Cantonese are HK and Macau people, and generally speaking, they speaks really bad Mandarin. Those in Guangdong actually speaks Mandarin and Cantonese with some other accent from a differnet dialect.
