The Car Park will be open to the public on the 11th May 2012.

Lots of interesting things happening, but no photos! I live in Watford, so would appreciate the visual thing. Thanks in expectation.

I finish college very soon, and i'll be walking to town every other day seeing as the weather (fingers crossed) should be getting better so i won't use the bus as much (saves money too), so expect lots of updates from me weekly from the beeston - nottingham section

All those hundreds of millions being spent to extend Nottingham's tram network, do you think they could put a few quid aside to upgrade the ultra-cheap signs at the stops? A bit of pop-rivetted sheet metal isn't good enough - should should be internally illuminated.

What's wrong with that sign? Surely the cash should be spent on leather seats.

I wonder if each tram will be individually named after a famous Nottingham person like the current fleet.

Why, because he sank a shit-load of money into something that fundamentally didn't work?

LUL, I joke, I like the tram.

One of the new trams should be called hooters, then have the girls collecting fairs. Would cut the amount of tram fare dodges down

Interesting, thanks. I cant help but think a good third of those names are there are a bit woolly and 'worthy' though. How about:

Albert Ball, First World War fighter pilot
Stella Rimington, first female head of MI5
Sir Paul Smith, fashion designer
Robert Harris, author
Watson Fothergill, architect

Though I think secretly I'd quite like to take a ride on Su Pollard...

Dennis McCarthy ... who?

A very popular Radio Nottingham presenter. At his funeral crowds lined the streets to pay their last respects as the cortege drove from the Beeb on Mansfield Road to St Barnabas's RC cathedral.

If you don't believe me have a look http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=326696
