wider the river using a bit kg baru land..built warisan merdeka near klcc,plus four season center+ib tower+aurora+whotel+platinum suite...then woaho!,kl will have a great waterfront facing kl skyline,similar to shanghai,at the same time, develop kg baru to traditional style with proper bazzar,herritage site,traditional architecture...then we will have very unique contrast,very interesting

Why not demolish PNB-wholly-owned Bangunan MAS and move it there????

Now that is what I call awesome skyline!!!

(not sure whether the land size is too small, but Kg Baru land even smaller and environment + current infrastructure not suitable)

Bananapotato was right!built this megatall near klcc,wider the river that saperate klcc and kg baru and change kgpung baru to malaysian heritage area like bund shanghai,put craft center,large waterfront,culture center,dining place and gallery museum!kl will be awesome!

Actually it was a park called Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. It was very popular as it is easily accessible by foot from Chinatown and also crowds from the 3 stadiums. Don't know why it was closed for so many years, 20+ years I think before Warisan Merdeka came about.

Are you sure Najib caved in to pressure or simply the developer had no funds to finance this project? Does Najib really have a say in this anyhow? I thought it is a "private" project?
