Avengers 6/10, not as good as the hype. Special effects are good though, and I love the view from Stark tower.

If i remember correctly, this started out as pet project for a trailer that got picked up and made into a feature movie. I cant believe they actually did it and it is complete.

It was never just a pet project trailer, it was intended to always become a feature film. The fact that it's an independent film and partially fan financed, is the main reason why it took so long to produce. Only once they got financial backing from the studios did it really progress.

5 Year Engagement is pretty good, 8/10.
Emily Blunt is a babe, not classically pretty, but definitly a hottie |

Wish You Were Here
I found it quite an interesting Aussie movie. Joel was brilliant and I enjoyed the unfolding storyline. Can't decide if it's 3.5/5 or 4/5. How about 3.75/5 |

Really looking forward to Prometheus, a decent sci-fi flick is a rare thing, so I shall be IMAX 3D-ing it all the way, here are some viral vids from it.

The Dictator was much funnier than I had thought, not as funny as Bruno or Boret or Ali G, but good fun, barring some of the jokes about rape and child molestation, but again, well, it's context.

Just saw Get the Gringo, and it's pretty good, 8/10. Mel Gibson back to his old school form. Pity he's probably ruined his career with all the other stuff, because he's very good at this sort of film.

saw 'Deliverance'' for the first time the other night, very good. It is what 40years old but doesnt come across as corny or overly dated once youre caught up in the story.
