Carrefour plans to quit the Southeast Asian market, possibly because of the fact they are unable and suffer from tight competition between retailers.

That was news in 2010.

In late 2010, they only sold Carrefour Thailand to Casino Group.

In 2011, they have decided to stay back in Malaysia and Singapore with more expansion plans on the way.

By 2020, this place will host a potential 120-storey tower and skyline will double or triple. You can also see the National Palace here.

Penang - 2nd largest metro + city

Penang is currently undergoing a massive real estate and construction boom, led by the Penang 2nd Bridge project, Southeast Asia's longest bridge when completed in a year's time. Some analysts said that Penang looks set to attract more Foreign Investments than Kuala Lumpur.

Yes.

Normally students would do a 1+2 or 2+1, which means the first or 2 years of undergrad in Malaysia, then transfer to Australia for the remaining years.

Besides that, there are other options as well such as credit transfers to other Australian universities in Australia, student-to-student exchange programmes, certain courses can be opted to be taken in various Australian campuses of those Uni, etc.
