wait, here is the land acquisition problem, nothing to do with BBMP proposed flyover.

No toll.
Toll will be from Peacock bridge to Cloverleaf and beyond.
That small patch of land, and the mysore road end are the two problems.

They've started placing beams on the East bound carriageway.
Will try and get a snap.

Even i saw the same today. i feel in a month time this will be ready and with that entire PRR will be ready from EC to tumkur road.

Now BMTC should start the BUS between EC and tumkur road stop at all intersection.

Also NICE people should come out with their mono rail plan.

I dont know if BMTC has a plan as such but it has to, it will get a lot of commuters especially btw Mysore-Bannerghata-EC section...

That will be difficult. Toll is expensive. There is no multiple pass system. You'll need to build a walkway from the bus stop to the road below or else you'll have pedestrians jaywalking on the Expressway.

That was ready long back. and built by NICE only. There still some land acquisition issue that's holding back the opening of this stretch.

Though I wouldn't be surprised at all if it were to happen. I am sick of this whole saga - maybe it would be better to just scrap this whole BMIC plan, and plan an alternative alignment, starting from scratch - maybe from NH209 - Kanakapura road side, or somewhere else.

If we persist with this NICE-BMIC thing, the Blr-Mys Expressway will never see the light of day.

I remember NICE saying that the expressway was still going on as planned.
