Anyway.
Point 1. The whole Abu Dhabi investment/regeneration has to be good for East Manchester. Even the most tribal United fan has to get that.
Point 2. Looking at that image above, the whole streetscene looks empty, deserted. It looks like nobody lives there, and that has to change.
Point 3. We've heard so much speculation about what the Abu Dhabi investment might bring to to the site, and so far....well not a lot really. Dirt shifting and a lot of promises and speculation.
The stadium continues to underwhelm.
The new facilities proposed, whilst welcome are hardly the stuff of dreams. Most of the 'investment' so far has gone into fattening the bank balances of mercenary footballers who probably don't give a shit about the football club, Manchester or its environs.
To use that hideous Olympic phrase.....
