Winchester -12th May
Winchester is an English city with a population of about 40 000 which was founded by the Romans and later was the Anglo-Saxon capital of England.
The photos aren't really to straight because there were lots of people around and I didn't really want them to notice that I was taking photos Winchester é uma cidade inglesa com uma população de cerca 40 000 que foi fundado pelos Romanos e foi mais tarde a capital Anglo-saxónica da Inglaterra. As fotos não estão muito direitos porque quando tirei-as as ruas estavam cheias e não queria que as pessoas vissem que eu estava a tirar fotos. 01. Winchester is beautiful town at it's very worst you've got some boring but green suburban estates on it's edges but from there you just end seeing nicer and nicer residential areas. The town centre is just so polished with cafes and restaurants tumbling out little lanes amongst little shops. The money just oozes out between the brushed up bricks.

If anyone was wondering the term "chester" comes from the Latin castra or castrum. Castra were Roman military camps or forts.

It does indeed. Caer as in Caernarfron also comes from that term. |

I would agree

It is. There are many others, but for a place of 40 000 Winchester has maintained itself impressively. |
