Larry is right about the photo you know. Those commie towers should be demolished asap.

But lets not forget every city has parts like shown in the photo

I think they're pretty unique, they appear much better quality (especially in materials) then anything built elsewhere at the time...

And anyway, they look as if they could be reclad really easily and create an interesting design as they arn't just a boring verticle block... Plus I imagine they'll cause a nice contrast between this building (which is on of my favorites) and others around them

Agreed. They are not so bad. I would like to see them recladded, but not like another anonymous glass box.

Yeah recladding would be great. But I'm afraid that won't happen soon.
