გუდიაშვილის 3 ნომერში საჯარო ბიბლიოთეკის ახლოს, თანამედროვე არქიტექტურის 5 ვარსკვლავიანი, 60 აპარტამენტიანი სასტუმრო Rixos Residence-ის მშენებლობა მიმდინარეობს. სასტუმრო სულ 10 სართულიანი იქნება და სასტუმროს პირველ 2 სართულზე განთავსებული იქნება მსოფლიოში აღიარებული ბრენდების 40–მდე ბუტიკ – მაღაზია. მათ შორის ისეთი ბრენდები როგორიცაა: Dior, Boss, Stella McCartney. ასევე, სასტუმროს პირველ სართულს მუზეუმი დაიკავებს, რომელიც გალერეებს და საგამოფენო დარბაზებს გააერთიანებს. სასტუმროს მშენებლობისათვის 15 მილიონიანი ინვესტიცია განხორციელდება. 5–ვარსკვლავიანი სასტუმრო 2014 წლის დასაწყისში გაიხსნება.

„TBILISI RIXOS RESIDENCE” ისრაელის ინვესტიციით შენდება და აღმოსავლეთ ევროპასა და მთლიანად “RIXOS“-ის საერთაშორისო ქსელში არქიტექტურის თვალსაზრისით და მაღალი ხარისხის მშებენლობით ერთ-ერთი წამყვანი პროექტი იქნება. დღეს, ისრაელის საქმიანი წრეების წარმომადგენლებმა სასტუმრო “RIXOS“-ის მშენებლობის პროცესი თავად დაათვალიერეს.

საერთაშორისო სასტუმროების მენეჯმენტ ჯგუფი "რიქსოსი" 2000 წელს დაფუძნდა და მსოფლიოში ერთ–ერთი ყველაზე სწრაფად განვითარებადი ფეშენებელური სასტუმროების ქსელია.

That part of Tbilisi is really unique in the world. And it must be renovaited like Agmashenebeli Ave. and Kalabuani.

"Millennium" Hotel to be Opened in "IMEL" Building Instead of "Kempinski"

The building will retain the historic appearance

After the reconstruction IMEL former building will become the UK brand "Millennium" hotel instead of the German "luxury " brand. The agreement was signed by the United Arab Emirates Sheikh and the Millennium" chain Vice - President.

Tbilisi City Hall states that the building will retain the historic appearance and will be a hotel of a high level. The investor will invest 40 million USD in the project.

Tbilisi "Millennium" will open in 2014.

A reminder: "Imel" former building, which is located on Rustaveli Avenue, belongs to the Arabic "Dhabi group" which bought the 80% - stake from "Capital Vostok " company for 22 million USD in March 2008.

Saakashvili inspects new infrastructural projects
11.05.12 Saakashvili inspected the new infrastructural projects and objects being under construction in capital Tbilisi today. The president visited teh road connected Saburtalo and Vake districts, where a 204-meter tunnel is being constructed.

120 people are employed at the works, which are supposed to finish in September 2012.

Saakashvili also visited Galaktioni Bridge, where new ramps and piers are being constructed. He also inspected the ongoing works on the territory of former market where two-storey new agrarian market is being constructed.

The president also inspected the ongoing works, at the public service hall, in the renewed theatre and exhibition hall in the Rike Park.

He also inspected the new gondolas at the 500-meter ropeway which will connect the Rike Park with Narikala fortress. Saakashvili tried the new ropeway with his elder soon.

A modern college to be constructed in Gldani district

A new technical college of modern standards will be constructed in Gldani district, Tbilisi. Georgian president worked along with the workers employed at the construction today. Mikheil Saakashvili was dressed in the worker`s uniform fulfilling all jobs on the construction.

President spent a few hours at the basement laying works together with mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava and Minister of Education Dimitri Shashkini.

`I said that I would be the head of this college and I do not want to take this position when the construction is over, but I also want to participate in its construction,` president said.

«Кемпински» пока не будет строиться в Грузии

Проект строительства в Тбилиси гостиницы люкс-класса «Кемпински» заменен другим брендом. Гостиница «Кемпински» должна была быть построена в бывшем здании ИМЭЛ.

Головной офис «Кемпински» прислал радио «Коммерсанту» официальное письмо, в котором говорится, что у бренда не было никакого соглашения о строительстве в Тбилиси гостиницы, хотя рассматривает развитие своей сети в Грузии как потенциальное направление.

На этой неделе стало известно, что на проспекте Руставели вместо «Кемпински» будет построена гостиница «Милениум».

This is great, that means that the reconstruction of the Agmashenebeli avenue wasn't a project on his own, they are reconstructioning all streets near the Agmashenebeli ave.

Made in Georgia Industrial Parade held in Tbilisi

Made in Georgia Industrial Parade was held today in Rustaveli Avenue, the main thoroughfare of Tbilisi. Productions of over 250 Georgian factories, starting from carriages to oil tank trucks or agricultural products were along the avenue.
Part of the productions was exhibited in the open air while other part was exhibited in special tents stretched in the avenue.
Companies located in the capital as well as different regions of Georgia represented their productions at the exhibition today. Commercials for the different Georgian products were demonstrated on monitors in the special information tunnel.
The industrial parade was held on the initiative of the Tbilisi City Hall. Tbilisi Mayor Gigi Ugulava attended the exhibition today.
Military production labelled - Made in Georgia - was also represented at the parade. Among them were combat vehicles Lazika and Didgori and the unmanned aircraft.
Concerts on different sites were hold all day long along with the exhibition in the Rustaveli Avenue.
President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili wearing a T-shirt with logo Made in Georgia also visited the industrial parade today. First of all he inspected the pavilion of military vehicles and aircrafts.
The president walked through the avenue and talked to representatives of all the companies represented at the exhibition. During his walk he said the metro line will be prolonged from Tbilisi to the ancient town Mtskheta by 2015.
This is the first year the industrial parade has been held in Georgia. It is planned to be conducted every year for purpose of boosting the Georgian production at the international market and development of the local economy.
