Developing, Emerging, Very quickly Developing, You can sugar coat the dire situation in anyway you want. Fact of the matter, the streets in the cities India are just plan crap and embarassing even in showcase locations like Gurgaon, BKC. The local governments need to recognize this and make a concerted effort to improve them. Nobody said developed countries were perfect.

Hmm i totally agree with you but you need to understand that most of the cities in india are really old,hence outdated transport and sanitary facilities.Again the weather in india is far more extreme than other countries.extreme weather deteriorate the roads quickly here.then also the govt. is spending billions of dollars to improve the quality of highways.So things will improve soon.

There is no use in making excuses like that. Most of european , chinese , japanese towns are as old or older than our new cities. Let's just recognize the problem and try to solve it. We dont take care of our cities and are horrible at maintaining it but yeah it is improving and it will improve

Savz, nice posting. Were you able to count the number of floors on this one - is it 45 or 50? Must say, that oberoi projects are build at a very fast speed. It is a good strategy they have, which has helped in building their brand name. Even the construction quality seems to be above average.

You can see the floor numbers are written on beams in the second pic but only resi floors are numbered there...... I counted 46 floors starting from floor number "1".

I got 45, more so it would be interesting to know how it stacks up to 50 floors. It looks pretty much t/o to me.
