Not even been 3 months and SP has started it's politics of scrapping projects initiated by BSP in Noida, First it was the Ganga expressway now the Airport in Greater Noida, god knows what more conniving plans does this idiotic party have in store to hamper Noida's growth and prospects just because of prejudices. This new CM who was touted as being progressive is no better than his father who during his term, stopped all development work in Noida. In fact, his father (F**king douchebag he is) even made a rule that no more colleges could be built in Noida until at least 4 were built in each of the other districts ( however, he had to scrap it due to non viability). A few days ago, HCL wanted to invest Rs. 1500 crore to develop a training institute and the UP government specifically said that they can't invest it in Noida or Greater Noida, they have to set it up elsewhere. http://www.indianexpress.com/news/hc...-state/945343/ They better know, that most of the revenues come from Noida- Greater Noida and if they do not put back what they earn from this place they will loose additional revenue in the form of investment to other NCR towns!!

Jennoida, isn't it strange that first we say companies must be pushed to invest outside big cities and when UP govt pushes HCL to do so, we condemn it? Now that Agra is 100-120 mins from Delhi, an institute in Agra or Lucknow doesn't seem that bad an option. Lucknow is also doing better than before these days. It may get a Metro Rail as well.

^ You misunderstood me. I am not against companies moving to other parts of UP and development of UP as it most certainly should be done, but that should be a choice of the company not doing the same on being told. Plus my post was basically, on how politics in UP basically affect its growth and Noida is the worst hit by this. During SP's term last time, many infrastructure projects got affected in Noida including the present Mahamaya flyover which was stalled during the whole term. Now, the recent developments which include scrapping of the Ganga expressway(which would have created investment and jobs for not only the Noida region but all the way to Eastern UP), the proposed airport bring back traces and trends of its treatment towards Noida as it did last time. Also, Just because Noida is comparatively more developed than the rest of UP doesn't mean that you shouldn't further develop it as it still has its limitations.

Noida authority may mark Rs 5,000 crore for key projects NOIDA: In its first meeting since the change of guard in the state, the Noida Authority board is expected to budget Rs 5,000 crore for important development projects in the city. The meeting tentatively scheduled for the second week of June will focus on important public projects, besides the five chosen by the new chief minister. To get rid of the previous regime's 'corruption' baggage, the authority's new CEO Sanjiv Saran has formed a committee that will probe allegations of graft in the sanctioning of nearly 150 projects worth more than Rs 700 crore. "Currently, projects worth more than Rs 1 crore each, which were sanctioned after December last year by different departments, are in the process of being reviewed," Saran said. The additional CEO and heads of all the departments, including civil, planning, sewage, horticulture, water, power etc, have been asked to put forth details of their respective projects by the end of this month for scrutiny by the finance department. The focus of the authority's budget will be on issues directly linked to the common man, including roads, public transport, sanitation and horticulture. The CEO stressed that his "agenda would be to push the important mega-projects towards completion". Projects like the 3.9km Metro extension estimated to cost Rs 786 crore, which is part of Delhi Metro's phase-III plan, will be taken up immediately. "We are only waiting for the state government's approval," Saran said. The Rs 1,800 crore estimate for the 6.7km Metro extension from the City Centre station - connecting Sector 32 with Sector 62 and touching NH-24 - is also expected to be included in the budget. The proposed elevated stretch on Master Plan Road-II from Vishwa Bharti Public School to Shopprix Mall in Sector 61, and the flyway between sectors 19 and 27 up to Spice Mall are also likely to get the go-ahead. Other projects on the agenda are the elevated road above the Shahdara drain; new bridge over the Yamuna and the three proposed underpasses along the Master Plan road-III to provide signal-free access for the% Metro route extension. |

2 medical colleges on cards in Gautam Budh Nagar district
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/c...w/13876364.cms
Greater Noida: In an effort to boost education facilities and health services across Gautam Budh Nagar district, the state government is mulling over opening two medical colleges. The colleges will come up within the premises of the two multispecialty district hospitals located in Noida and Greater Noida. The district does not have any government medical colleges yet. Greater Noida Authority CEO, Rama Raman, said the government has also constituted a six-member committee headed by IIDC Anil Kumar Gupta to look into the feasibility of the projects. The committee is likely to meet in Lucknow before the end of this week. Once a feasibility report is prepared, it will be forwarded to the government. "There is a noticeable imbalance of medical personnel and facilities across the district and this is because the district does not have any medical colleges run by the state. As per plan, the two colleges will have infrastructure and teaching staff at par with any premier private medical institute in the country, minus the steep fees. This will give students a chance to pursue their MBBS degrees irrespective of their economic backgrounds," an official said. "The Ambedkar Multispecialty Hospital in Noida and the Kanshiram Multispecialty Hospital in Greater Noida have ample space to accommodate the two proposed colleges. The government will give us further directions to give shape to the proposal once the feasibility report is submitted by the committee," he added. Both the hospitals are part of the 'dream projects' of former UP chief minister Mayawati. Constructed at a cost of over Rs 500 crore each, they are the only government multispecialty hospitals in the entire Gautam Budh Nagar district. |

^Invest a fraction of 40 Lac's in search and research re: www.axiomestates.com, a site I use to stay oriented and grounded. It seems to be a UK based site with reasonable standards. Some prices are listed, other's suggested. Comes across quite fair, honest & transparent site. Other sites, check them out. Time & broadband are not cheap commodities in busy middle class India, don't under-estimate .NOBODY does research at all, they (even some realtors masquerading as skyscrapercity enthusiasts here itself ) will run you down and when frustrated, pitch you whatever is being pushed at the time. Been there, done that. Your budget is band on, and the market r8 now is in your favour. Good luck!
