Abdulla Yousif Fakhro and Sons appoints CBRE to manage and lease Fakhro Tower in Manama, Bahrain
Bahrain: Monday, April 02 - 2012 at 09:15

PRESS RELEASE

Abdulla Yousif Fakhro & Sons and CBRE are delighted to announce the signing of an agreement appointing CBRE to manage and lease the Fakhro Tower, a prestigious new commercial office complex in Dana, Manama.

Nearing completion, the tower extends 30 storeys and provides 19,000mē of office accommodation plus ground floor showroom areas and an impressive double height reception lobby.

Car parking is arranged over five podium floors to provide in excess of 400 parking bays and an industry leading ratio of about 1 per 50mē of commercial office space.

Offices are provided in shell and core presentation for tenant's fit out with fully fitted lift lobbies and common toilet/washroom facilities on each office floor.

The lettable area of each typical floor is 825mē, sub divisible by up to four suites per floor.

There are four high speed passenger lifts, one service lift and a designated lift for the podium car park.

Fakhro Tower also benefits from an unrivalled level of common area amenities to include full service coffee shop with lounge, well-equipped gymnasium, ladies and gents prayer rooms and catered function/conference rooms.

Mr. Abdulla Esam Fakhro, Director of Business Development at Abdulla Yousif Fakhro & Sons, was keen to highlight the reasons for choosing the location for the project, saying, "Fakhro Tower is in an extremely prominent location, enjoying high visibility from the main Saudi/Airport highway and close proximity to the Bahrain City Centre, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the LMRA offices and the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre."

He continued, "We identified the area as an ideal place for our employees to access and to work from; we are taking substantial space in the tower for our own group of companies, which demonstrates our confidence in the location, in the project, and in Bahrain."

Commenting on this important appointment, Mr. Andrew Hinson, Senior Director Property Management for CBRE, said, "Fakhro Tower is an impressive 'new generation' commercial office tower of impeccable pedigree which will benefit from a very high contemporary specification and prominent location."

He added, "By leveraging these important benefits and with correct positioning in the market by CBRE, Fakhro Tower will quickly become a 'must consider' location for new and established office occupiers in the Kingdom."

Actually, it's Fakhro with one O. Some do use two O's but this side of the family uses one. So.... it's correct. But good observation.
