Funny watching them Jrb to be honest.

I'd love to take these two on a trip around town. See if they can point out to me how many times the tram crosses a border between the City and the Quays.

For reference - it's twice, between two stations.

Tram crosses the Manchester-Trafford border after leaving Cornbrook. Then, after leaving Pomona, it enters into Salford. Crey shit.

Shall we talk 50m+ in the centre, Leeds about 29, Manchester 38, more if we start the Salford thing,
Oh, did I mention the 73m COOP HQ, not on the lists yet

Leeds hasn't got 29 in the entire city, let alone the centre...

Most of us prefer not to argue about which subjective imaginary city boundaries are larger than others; regardless of which 'city' we're from.

And is an undivided metropolis really better than a number of separate districts separated by parkland/countryside? You all seem to be wanting to win the wrong argument. Is this really what we are arguing for? I'll take Shropshire any day!

Also, postcodes mean shit. The Isle of Wight falls under the Portsmouth postcode but nobody is going to tell you the Needles are in Pompey...

I'd love them to build me an apartment atop Shudehill car park, just for this view;

Can I just say, the building on the left (in front of City Tower) is called the Lighthouse. Standing at 67 metres, it would be one of the tallest buildings in Leeds or Liverpool (and certainly make a huge impact on the skyline). But it hardly ever pops up on our skyline (thank god too, it's not pretty admittedly)

I like the cube, it is different. Cannot stand the John Lewis blob, mainly because it is not a stand alone structure and looks plain weird for that.

Just thought I would say.

Far enough. But John Lewis hasn't even started construction yet.

My neighbours on each side of me both say they live in a certain district but my deeds say they don't.

You have never been to Leeds then with dozens of residential tower blocks across the city with many 50m or more. As for the city centre, 29 is correct.

Standing at Cornbrook station I counted 47 tower blocks once, including the Quays.

And that's just West inner city. I was at Heaton Park on the hill today and there's loads throughout North GM

I lived in Leeds for 3 years.

There simply aren't that many 50m+ in the entire city, sorry. If there are you can easily name and locate them, but I doubt you will.
