Here are the floor heights.
71- 918 ft 2 in (last office floor) 72- 932 ft 10 in (mech floor) 72m- 964 ft 6 in Top of parapet- 976 ft 10 in They don't have to install columns exactly up to a certain floor. There is approximately 54 feet to go. Which could easily be attained with two sets of 27 ft columns. Which is exactly what they've been raising for the office floors. Each floor is 13' 6" high (x2 = 27ft). I think there will be two more jumps left. |

interesting. the newest columns seem to be slightly shorter than what we have seen raised previously.

![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us yes initially i thought so too, when looking at perspectives from close to ground level. but from the 7wtc earthcam the perspective distortion should be negligible, at most. but here you can clearly see the difference in height between the latest columns and the last set from about 2 weeks ago. it will be interesting to see the configuration of these final floors.

The photo on the right appears to be two floors taller.

i dont understand why you have to state the obvious... of course the one on the right is taller, it is taken yesterday. the one on the left is from two weeks ago. *sigh*
im not trying to illustrate that there has been a height change (i.e of 2 floors). thats bleeding obvious.my point is if you look closer, the columns raised two weeks ago are taller than the columns raised yesterday.

The engineers have it all mapped out, but trying to analyze it to death won't speed it up.

What i didn't appreciate was your smart-ass comment about my post. I come to this forum to contribute my personal observations and share the experience of witnessing this great tower grow. The worst thing is to have another forum member make me feel as though my observations are not valid or not worth sharing with the forum. Anyway back on topic, i guess we wont see any further work until next Tuesday?

There will be two more jumps of 27 ft columns to the top. The tower is ~922 ft high. 54-55 feet to go. Two easy jumps of 27 ft each to top out. June 8th and the 22nd should be the next two height jumps.

The new columns certainly look a lot shorter to me:
