does anyone know if the name of this project is inspired by the famous region in italy called Veneto? i mean the region where is placed venice.
i think that nakheel has taken a big risk calling this area like a region that includes a city unique in the world which is protected by ONU and that represents a real trademark.

I did not see Veneto in any of the press releases. Please send a link over?

I saw the link today... it mentions Veneto. You are correct, however, I think it only applies to phase 1.

Dubai: Dubai property developer Nakheel will restart five more projects as it receives cash from the Dubai Government to pay off the sukuk maturing next year.

Work will resume on Jumeirah Park, Badrah, Veneto, Jumeirah Heights Clusters, Jumeirah Village the Triangle and Circle, a Nakheel spokesperson told Gulf News.
