The receptions look plain and bland. They need some ornaments or just something of interest or something pleasing to the eye.

So far the only thing my eye notices is the lights that don't work

People always like playing 'finding the fault' game..

We are getting positive feedback from people who have done snagging and finished handover.

I personally like the reception. Its spacious with good heights..

The picture above does not convey height and space. The outlook into a basement also adds to the claustrophobic appearance. I assume this is the entrance to Central tower, if so the design is a big dissapointment in terms of the price point of the building.

Any way, it's good to have open discussions on the feel of the building now that handover has apparently started. Rather than hiding away in your secret members only club.

compared to some of the other receptions in the marina, it's poor. Bland at best.

I remember when Imre uploaded Botanica pics..many of them criticised about the flower/dark colour theme until they received positive comments from impartial members/experts.

Everyone has their own taste.

TB..to be honest..there is not much going in secret forum as well as members are busy with handover..i agree with you about the open discussion..

The landscaping isn't bland, it's just crap! They look like the 5 plants for 20AED from ACE most of which have been killed already by the guys finishing the building work.

The security barrier, err I mean peice of rope, is a nice touch. Very classy

Thankfully they have "SELECT GROUP" signage everywhere so that everyone is reminded who never to buy "5 star quality" from again.

2 bed on the back of the building with partial sea view 1300ft2 asking 155k pa. Is it just me?

Far too expensive for those small appartments with a job site next to you... partial sea view means the road side... so very noisy too

Err excuse me but that rope is made from the finest 5* materials so please do not abuse the rope as a lot of thought from Select top management has gone into that....

I prefer the West lobby to the Central one because it is located outside the car park, facing the road. I find it strange that you need to go into the car park to enter the central tower.

It's because Select blocked what should have been the entrance to the central tower to create a bigger area for the hotel forecourt.
50% for hotel 50% for the other two towers.
