I read about the underground party. I'm sure the RATP & the rest of the Parisian government were furious.

I would have to think that there would be many security cameras in those areas to reduce vandalism.

From what I understand, they have security cameras in the active bits of the métro (ie: all 14 lines + 3bis and 7bis) and the places used as train storage (like Porte Molitor and the Voie Murat leading to it, part of the voie des fêtes leading towards Haxo as well it seems and all the other depots)

The closed stations that were open in the past (Champs de Mars, Arsenal and Saint Martin, expect Croix-Rouge) still have access on the surface.
Anyway the entrances are closed.

Funiculaire de Montmartre (Not sure where this fits in the Paris transport threads)

Why there are those cables on the ceiling on Saint Placide's corridors?

The station on the video is not Saint Placide but Porte d’Orléans, the southern terminal station of the line 4.
Saint Placide is a small station, it doesn't have long corridor.
Porte d'Orleans is pretty big with a quite many corridor linking to the bus lines that depart from the station.

It is busiest "Porte...." station of Paris

The map doesn't include the bus lines that aren't operated by the RATP. Those buses are express and don't serve the inner suburbs.

The station is under in renovation (for the extension of the line 4 to Mairie de Montrouge), the new cables haven't yet been properly placed or it is the old cables that haven't been removed.

Looks a bit messy though, however since the station is under renovation, that's normal. I've seen a lot worse here in subway stations that are undergoing revovation.

Duroc, platform doors.

The installation also began at Montparnasse-Bienvenue.

Which stations on line 13 were already fitter with PSD's? Is there any site with that information? Is Saint Lazare station already fitted with them?
