It seems that T. Bear is now upset,
Like Octoman with national debt. We should cheer Octo with money, And this young bear with honey, To avoid scenes which we may regret. |

I've had another penile catastrophe.
I had a sunbed today, the first time since little hoody. I forgot that he hasn't really been exposed to the sun. I have a burnt helmet. :scorchio:

In short I know people who have trashed their bodies for far longer, or who are far more overweight, who aren't brown bread Turns out it happened on Saturday morning in front of his partner, she was taking instructions over the phone as it took the ambulance 30 minutes to get to the Isle of Dogs. I'm seeing her Wednesday after work, not looking forwards to it, but she needs visitors right now. |

Not really a personal announcement, but I don't know where else to put this. Received the regular newsletter from the provost at uni, and it included this quote;
"The UCL practice is to recognise that all league tables suffer from serious methodological faults and are unreliable except for those in which UCL is ranked top." |

I just received this email from TFL.
Hopefully this means I can work from home, for at least some of the time. My company is already preparing for this.--- Dear Mr Fox, I am writing to advise you that during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, London will be turned into a massive sporting and cultural venue. With tens of thousands of Olympic athletes, officials and media and millions of visitors and spectators here, this means that roads in central London, around venues and on and around the Olympic and Paralympic Route Networks (the ‘ORN’ and ‘PRN’) will be much busier than usual from mid‑July. Our advice is to avoid driving in central London, around venues and on or around the ORN and PRN. If driving in these areas is absolutely essential, you should plan ahead and allow extra time. Temporary traffic changes will be in place along the ORN and PRN. Games Lanes will be in operation on parts of the ORN and PRN at certain times; these are for the use of Games vehicles only. If you drive in the Games Lanes, park, load or stop on the ORN or PRN, your vehicle may be removed and you risk a fine of £130. To help you see how your routes will be affected, we have launched a new online ‘Temporary Road Changes’ tool. Please visit getaheadofthegames.com/roads We are running a number of roadshows to help you prepare, including one at Canada Water station on Monday 11 June from 0700 until 1200 as well as at London Bridge station on Wednesday 13 June from 0700 until 1200. For more information, please visit getaheadofthegames.com/roadshows Yours sincerely, Vernon Everitt Managing Director, Marketing and Communications

I have given up Drinking again for a while, did it for 6 months once.
I like a drink now and then but I have never felt I needed it to enjoy myself. With my current health drive (cycling to work and swimming more regularly) I feel this is a great way to cut out unnecessary calories and fat. |

But its a fact that being tee-total makes your feet bigger! ![]() I'm going to start cutting down my drinking again. I've got a bit carried away since the hot weather appeared and it's done some serious harm to the bank account. Plus my skin's quite sensitive to it all and it's not looking great. I've still got 12 cans in the corner of the room that need to go before I cut down, though.......

10 cups of green tea every single day?
Sod that, I'd much rather die earlier and drink Ribena and beer all day everyday. |

Only until they decide in a few months that green tea gives you mega-cancer only to be then deemed good for you a few months after that.
