Killerfrogs.com forum member SuperToad has posted a few screenshots from the interior of the stadium -- not much different than JJG's last contribution above:
http://www.killerfrogs.com/msgboard/...owtopic=155062 I was, however, pleased to see the progress of the east concourse: ![]()

Doesn't have anything to do with the stadium, but I'm real glad to be seeing these rolling around...

.... This isn't a university, this is a rich boarding school xD I mean SERIOUSLY, those locker rooms and training facilities look way too upscale for just a university football team.

Besides, these facilities are nice, but there's probably better out there.

And guess what? They have a kick ass football team to go with it. Also, you must not know much about American College Football. We pay BIG bucks for our programs, especially in the south. Last edited by JJG; June 26th, 2012 at 06:06 AM. |

Tue that. Even look at public universities in the North; what schools like Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon have done recently, or what schools like Washington or California are doing right now. To a lesser extant you even have MAC schools like Akron building really serious football facilities. The big dollar side of things is getting out of hand. The only major school going for simple affordable stadium I can think of is Stanford (which I love personally) but everyone else public or private is trying to go the strait baller route. Be it 60 yard long football shaped locker rooms, two story team rooms or weight rooms bigger than an Ikea and of course suites that would make some NFL teams jealous for the sugar daddies helping to keep all of the money flowing. This is really top shelf finish at TCU, but they have to try and keep up of the UT's and OU's of the world among others. |

I would say so, and even if the capacity is much smaller if the team facilities and the general fit and finish are just as good if not better does it really matter all that much to recruits and donors? I guess OK State is doing pretty well these days with Boone Pickens doing his best Phil Knight impersonation for the Cowboys; but this is definitely more than keeping up with Texas Tech, West VA, K-State etc. and should remain on par with the new Baylor stadium. Sure does leave Iowa state and Kansas a long ways back in the Big12 arms-race.
