That is actually so sad. That picture shows exactly what the ANC's rhetoric cultivates. Rather than dismiss the art as distasteful, they chose to racialise it for their own gain. This manufactured outrage has actually given Zuma a boost in his re-election campaign in Manguang. I have a feeling it is all gigantic political posturing to create mass public sympathy for what could have been, a ANC president on his way out.

It will not be Plato. If you remember, he came far behind both Botha and Max in 2010. It is not even sure he is running this time. Meyer is the favorite, if I've understood correctly.
But like SUNS I am curious why you feel so strongly against him? |

![]() Now as that? Then DA would be 17 % of votes in 2014. Gauteng, KZN (90%), MPL, LIMP, FT, EC, NW, NC (half) for ANC!!

He is coloured actually, isn't he? In fact, all candidates are coloured this time. Botha is not running for re-election.
But in seriousness I do hope that race wasn't the basis of the complaint. |

Okay... enough guys. Let's not go off on a racial tangent... Admitted as sarcasm. DONE!Today's Zapiro cartoon pretty much sums up SA in the last 2 weeks; a manufactured frenzy (on something of complete national unimportance) most people are very tired of. ![]() From: www.mg.co.za |

After the ANC made such a fuss.
Madonsela: Western Cape contract valid 2012-06-01 13:07 Pretoria - A contract between the Western Cape government and advertising agency TBWA was not invalid, Public Protector Thuli Madonsela said on Friday. She told reporters in Pretoria she had made four findings of maladministration, but found no evidence of unlawfulness. "I haven't made a finding of unlawfulness," said Madonsela. - SAPA Source: News24

South Africa corrupts at the moment the Malawi with a $23 million sum for that this country vote for Dlamini Zuma for president's post of the committee of the African union. We in the Gabon, we call it of the fraud. Jean Ping deserves this post.

Good on Nandos for having the guts to take on this MASSIVE issue in South Africa. What I find utterly disappointing, albeit not surprising, the SABC refuses to flight the commercial. |

Of course the SABC refuse to flight it, because it will make ppl talk about an issue that they guavamint don't want ppl to talk about.
It also challenges the version of "history" that the ANC want to promote to its people. |

They correctly show, that when we go back far enough into history, we were all foreigners at some point. It shows that during the last millenium, we all arrived in South Africa at some time. Our history may be extremely complex, but rightly makes the point, that we are ALL in this together, regardless if your ancestors arrived in 1200, 1700, 1850 or last decade. If you're a citizen of this nation, we should be building it together. Because, if we go back far enough and get xenophobic about all groups that were not here originally, only the Khoisan would be left standing. Let's address past injustices pragmatically and within the law, without labeling our fellow South Africans in an inappropriate manner that fosters exclusion and hatred. |
