As much as I would love to see a NBA team back in Vancouver, I personally don't think it would work out. We simply don't have enough fans base here. I believe soccer is more popular in Vancouver and the Caps barely break even although the over head expence is much lower than the NBA.

It might be true for the some new asian immigrants but most young generations are all hockey nuts. Even me, an old chap from HK, played basketball and soccer all my life before I came to Canada, now the only sports I watch are hockey and baseball.

I believe you also live in Surrey and didn't you see two season ago when the Canucks made it to the final and how crazy the people celebrated on scott road and 72nd and did you notice that 99% of the crazy fans there are south asians? and did we expect them interested in crickets only?

I would like the Grizzlies back here, but if not, I wouldn't care too much.
