Yeah! And unlike Stockholm, Gothenburg would only benefit from skyscrapers/highrises in my opinion. The skyline isn't as "old architecture"-dependent, if you get what I mean.

Yes, however some industrial buildings are valuable, too. The transformation of an industrial area requires more work and effort than tearing everything down.
Of course, it would be lovely to see some highrises rise up in the watefront areas in Gothenburg. I, myself, still hope that the project 'Viking Green City' will become reality sooner or later.

a couple of buildings ca 150m would make a lift, at last we have the third gothia tower on the way

Excellent photo, but I really hope they soon will do something about the plans for renovation and extension of the ugly Radisson highrise in the middle of the photo. Damn, it needs it!
