Just passed by the site on the double decker bus 223 there on Shennan Road, there is a new render that shows a boxy tower looking a bit like the 371 m one in Guangzhou next to Chow Tai Fook, and it seems to be a bit shorter, like 80 levels. There's also a side 50+ storey mixed use building sharing a large retail podium with the main tower, as well as a bunch of shorter residential towers on a plot behind - maybe those handshake houses they hoped to get for more comprehensive redevelopment? Can anyone else passing by, with better knowledge of written Chinese, confirm?

Zorg, you mean the RTKL render of the 500 m tower here is actually newer than that thing hanging on the site? That's good news definitely... but why did they seemingly include a part of the existing short houses behind on that render, too...

it is not far from kingkey at all, so i really want to see it come reality in the near future, but no progress at all is never a good sign =/

always thought the "final" design looked quite concept. any idea if the design stayed the same and/or when to expect some higher quality renders?
