Excellent travail. J’espère que le boulevard Lumumba, sur le tronçon Avenue du Militant – Place de la reconstruction (échangeur), bénéficiera du même traitement. Les espaces entre la route principale et les rocades (petits boulevards) méritent aussi un traitement végétal, des larges trottoirs, des bancs publics ainsi qu’un éclairage qui mettra en valeur la Place de la Reconstruction.

Si le bilan de Moïse Katumbi en matière d’infrastructure routière est impressionnant et fait la fierté de toute la nation, celui de la Rtnc en tant que chaîne publique est lamentable.
Si la personne qui commente ces images est un journaliste professionnel de la Rtnc, c’est que cette chaîne a atteint le sommet (ou la limite inférieure) de la médiocrité ; sa seule chance de salut serait la restructuration qui verrait l’entrée des acteurs privés dans sa gestion. |

Looking @ the Blvd Tshatshi. That must be the standard of cleaness..... And its the reason y i don't like street vendors ( everyone should be in petit Zando in each Quartier, though commercial construction for Boutiques and Kiosks must be standarized as well)....

I sometimes wish that someportions of this road could be 2x2 rather than a
1x1. For the main transport road out of Kinshasa, this is realtively small. Lots of accidents happening between trucks and cars, and I have seen images of some portion of the road being completely blocked following some accidents. I also remember reading that there was a plan by the Word Bank back in the days to extend the road in a 2x2 but the plan was later on cancelled. |

See this video of the Douala-Yaounde road (231 Km), a little bit better than Kinshasa-Matadi, but roughly the same issue two lane road will all accidents and lack of side parking. Now Cameroon is moving towards having a newly build highway between the two cities.
Basically, cameroun has engaged in building a new deep water port and getting a highway to join both cities...that is what I call long-term planning. |
