TSB - how do you know what the steelwork will be like before it goes up? Do you have some special deal with the construction companies?

Fri (Lunch) crazy weather still - do we get a summer in London?? The scaffolding in some of my photos had come loose and was blowing around so I didn't hang around for long. The shard is simply breathtaking when viewed from the North....

Nice photos Lumberjack, I love how this state of the art building is bordered by a single lane, cobbled road that horse and carts used to trundle along.

. . . and ShardBaby, can't we have both options?

I know, I was joking. Alot of people moaning about supposed slow progress but I honestly think this is going quite fast. Am excited even though I think it is an eyesore.

I'm sure some cladding will appear soon as it looks like the supports are going in place.
