You forgot to mention Altitude 360 at the top of the Milbank tower ! Have booked it for birthdays in the past and the view from the city room is superb :0) It's not a turn up and dine type establishment though sadly

I was lucky enough to be invited up the Gherkin recently, amazing views from up there!

I went up the George Hotel on Langham Place the other day, just off oxford circus. they have a relaxed bar and restaurant on the 15th floor you can just walkin and get the lift up to. next to broadcasting house so apparently bbc's employees often go there.
also haven't seen dawson's heights/hill mentioned yet. a minor hill in the very south east of the london borough of southwark, in front of an impressive 70s looking council block. vary wide, and stunning view, though when i stumbled upon it there was some "beef" going on in the flats behind, with g's shouting at the top of their voices. maybe not a family destination, that one. |
