Short youtube video about San Satiro little ancient church, whose most ancient part dates back to IX century. The architect of the XV century part is the renaissance master artist Donato Bramante. It hosts the very first trompe l'oeil in art history of architecture, simply a must see.

Here you are some pictures I've taken on this very hot summer day...
This one is Santo Stefano Maggiore basilica, where the painter Caravaggio was baptized: Transept chapel: very beautiful baroque stained glass: This one is San Francesco da Paola church, a very good example of very rich Milanese late baroque style. This church will be restored in partnership with Armani, whose shop is facing the church in the same road, via Manzoni: paintings (in Italy, and therefore in Milan also, every church is an art museum filled with loads of paintings )the very nice rococò confessionals: and now not a church, but a very nice Liberty style building I've found very near the San Francesco da Paola church, in via Senato road: (in Italy we have no "art nouveau", we have Liberty style )Hope you liked it! ![]() See you soon if I don't melt!
