Too close to the airport, I think.
Remembering everyone that Sao Paulo has a huge airport conveniently located in the middle of the business district what makes it impossible to build anything over 150m in most wealthy areas. |

I thought about that airport (Congonhas) needing to be shut down for years. Guess Sao Paulo will have to build a replacement airport, especially to complement Guarulhos Airport.

Yes it needs, in fact it was announced that a new, third airport would be built to complement GRU, but no more information was given after that.
It's a complex situation, in a city that lacks infrastructure, to explain to the people that the govern will spend tons of money to shut down an airport and build a new one in another place just so that higher skyscrapers can be built. |
