It reminds me of this on Long Lane.

Would of been ideal for Loft Apartments

Berkley bought it. They're the ones who developed the site directly to the south of Goodmans Field, it's called Times Square. It turned out quite nice, I lived there for a year and the quality seemed quite good and the design wasn't all that bad. Too bad the area was completely dead with the RBS buildings abandoned and waiting to be redeveloped, Aldgate Tower also stalled, and the corner of Leman/Commercial/Whitechapel High Street also just a big lot of nothing but dirt.

It's no suprise this has been revived, what with the surging demand for exclusive apartments in London. Doesn't look to bad either, not anything stunning for sure, but we don't want everything to scream "look at me!" anyway.

Are you kidding?.. That phrase drives me insane. Look at me buildings I.e. buildings with any architectural merit? This building is the last thing this area needs. Years of uninspiring don't look at me buildings have made this the rough end of "the city" what this area needs is a land mark and a new bench mark for future development.

Barratt have put up the following sales info online in the last week:

http://www.barratthomes.co.uk/new-ho...3601-Altitude/

Not a fan of the render but still the developments a vast improvement on most of the run down buildings along commercial road.

Hey everyone.

Sad for the old building. Took a picture there two years ago by chance (seeing the shard?):
