I know this isn't the most important aspect right now...but It does look like The Hydro will have a Pizza Hut

Also, Does anyone know what the final design of the arena is? As even the official website displays contrasting designs :-/

Someone tweeted The Hydro Twitter account asking who will be the first act to play at the arena to which the handle replied saying that they "can't confirm the 1st act" which made me wonder if a 1st act has been booked to play? The word choice makes it seem like an act has indeed been booked but I'm probably just looking into things..

Nice. Some big bursts of thunder and lighting in the city this afternoon. I thought it was the construction work going on for the new Park Inn hotel near my work but it was thunder.

Love the picture & Loved the storm today! STV kept tweeting that the picture shows the crane being rattled by lightning... I mean if they use their eyes then they would see it strikes well beyond the crane but hey ho never mind.

The supports for the bridge are now up.

Coming over the bridge into Central the other day. It's amazing how much of the Hydro you can see from behind the IFSD and the buildings at Finneston!

Looking good. As someone from Edinburgh, I love Glasgow's no nonsense approach to building projects! No waiting around like through here.

There seems to be plenty of waiting around here too, trust me.

Edinburgh will always be Edinburgh and it will never really change. Far too much of Glasgow has been lost, the only upside to this is it gives significant opportunity for the future. I genuinely think it has the most potential of any city in the UK.
