Holmenkollen Hotel | Oslo, Norway.

Holmenkollen hotel or Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica as it is known as today, is a old wooden building dating from 1894.
The building was drawn by the Norwegian architect Balthazar Lange in a architectural style known as Dragon Style - basically Viking renewal style inspired by among other things our Stave churches.

Lovely. It well deserves a 9.

I love how it resembles the Norwegian stave churches. Great homage to the traditional architecture of the country. That's why I totally adore historism.
