A few photo's from 9th June 2012 of the Central Village Development - Liverpool.
The project is gathering pace, the cut-through of the old Lewis's store is well under way. And the new Multi Storey car park is nearly finished, still a long way to go.... More Information here.... I've only seen it coming in to Piccadilly station. It adds bulk to the skyline but doesn't seem to make it interesting, in the sense that Beetham looks dramatic and imposing from a distance, Wakefield looks stumpy and blends into the background even though it shouldn't as the surrounding buildings aren't as tall.

I like the Trinity project and with London having the Olympics and Glasgow the Commonwealth Games, Manchester Metrolink expansion...there is a decent amount of activity.
What happens after that though? Is this the last of the pre-doom consrtuction? |
