St George defeat Gold Coast 8-6. They focused on what they are good at - Defence and were rewarded.

Brisbane beat Souths 22-12.

Eels v Panthers up soon. Both teams are really struggling but will be motivated by the wooden spoon, so it might be an ok game. Go Parra!

Chris Sandow kicks the field goal and the Eels win 19-18 in extra time. By all accounts it was a good game. roofromoz, were you at the game?

Cannot believe that Parramatta actually won another game.

They've won two out of their last three games. They're on a roll..

On the news this morning they said: "Chris Sandow was the hero again for Parra"... Lol they make it sound like he's been doing it time & time again! Probably one of the worst buys of this season so far IMO.

Yeah, you're right. He certainly hasn't lived up to expectations.

I don't think anyone's been a hero this year. Except Hindy, he's a hero just about every time he takes the field imo.

I saw a tweet on The roar suggesting that Ricky Stuart will start at Parramatta after Origin. Presumably replacing Kearney. I take it with a grain of salt, but it's interesting all the same.

Yeah, I was. At 18-6 up, I was thinking to myself that we needed a field goal, just in case. Well, that just in case happened and then some.

For mine, it was a true 15th v 16th battle. Pretty scrappy match.

It seems that Dragons would be a team to beat because they certainly fired up against Titans. Now facing another hoodoo match against Canberra at Canberra this Monday coming up. I'm very confident that the Dragons will win it this time! Then it will get good run after the second bye before playing Sharks at WIN. Looks like good run home, trying to get back in top 8. Dangerous team coming up!!! Great solid defence.

Seems to be some musical chairs going on at the moment - Inu from the Warriors to the Dogs, Perrett from the Roosters to the Dogs, Mitchell from the Roosters to the Cowboys, Seluini from the Panthers to the Roosters, Earl from the Panthers to the Raiders, Fa'oaso (apparently) from the Knights to the Storm... I've probably missed a few, and there will probably be more to come in the next few weeks.

Mate, how juvenile, he deserves a bit more respect than your infantile attempt at witty humour.

There won't be any more immediate trasnfers after Saturday, June 30th is the deadline for mid-season transfers.

The Roosters are making room and it's rife on the rumour mill that Sonny-Bill has signed for 2 years and the announcement will be after State of Origin.
