There are 3 different colours of taxi in Hong Kong is because Hong Kong is divide into 3 main districts, Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and New Territories(include Lan Tau Island where the airport is). The Red Taxi can run in Hong Kong Island,Kowloon, New Territories and The airport in Lan Tau Island. The Green ones can only run in New Territories and the airport. Colors
Apart from blue, taxis also come in silver, green, red, white, black, yellow because each taxi operator uses a different color scheme for its taxis. In all, there are 5 taxi operators working under 7 brand names.

Features
Some taxis have backseat LCDs tuned in to live television programmes and LED displays on the roof displaying whether the taxi is for hire.

Models
Generally Toyota Crowns taxis, though Mercedes Benz luxury taxis are available too with slightly higher fares.

There are also some Peugeot vans that they use for taxis around here that are quite ugly.

La mayoría de los taxis son Volvo y Mercedes. El precio del viaje es decidido por la compañía del taxi y muchos turistas consiguen a menudo estafados y engañados. En Estocolmo hay cerca de 5000 taxis. Ése es demasiado mucho para una ciudad con solamente 1 millón de habitantes

Thats mostly just coincidence

the gallardo is not a taxi but the old classic looking black car with yellow roof trimmings is a taxi(one of the few types) they have standard fare

and if u look further down the Blue car parked on the side is a Cool Cab wich came around 5+ yrs ago. They have AC and are more expensive.

Many new ones have come though

more to come later i guess hopefully

How many of those do they have running around in Casablanca? And do they have different grades of cabs? M pretty sure that's a lux cab.

BTW, will they ever start using Larakis (Moroccan supercar) as cabs over there?
