For some years I have been collecting DVDs of many fine Czech movies. I've got quite a collection from 1930s to about mid 2000s - also managed to pick up a few in Praha in 2009. But in the past few years I've got a bit out of date on what good movies have been released since mid 2000s. While I'm here in CZ I'd like to pick up some more DVDs (especially since they often have English subtitles now!).

Can anyone list some good movies that have come out in the last few years that might also be released on DVD? I've referred to the Bonton catalogue but sometimes I can't distinguish between those worth getting and those not. (Although Czech movies on the whole are pretty fantastic which is why I collect them!)

And can anyone recommend a good shop in Plzen for buying DVDs?

I hope you're all enjoying the heat here in central Europe! At least you don't have to visit Australia now because you know what it feels like.

We can nominate Charles bridge to Bridge cup - here. I chose Charles bridge because it´s the 2nd oldest bridge in Czech Rep, the most famous one and the most beautiful one IMO.

You can nominate whatever one you like of course but I think Charles bridge has the biggest chance to make it to the tournament.

Ale zajímalo by mě, podle jakých kritérií to na cnngo.com vybírali. Co je třeba tak extra na Bitexco Financial Tower, nebo Kingdom Centre, že to dotáhli do první desítky? Možná nemuseli být na CNN tak skromní a mohli sáhnout více do amerických řad.
