For a small club like Lille this is definitely an improvement.

Shame the club are only leasing it.

The big boys own their stadiums.

Lille are small time.

The stadium looks a bit naff to me. The roof looks rubbish.

wow, there's no moderators on this. Sick "jokes" about homicide remain online.

This thread in itself is a joke, but I'm not too surprised since it's mostly eurotrash that argue about stadiums in second-tier cities populated by Algerians.

Surely a great stadium, but i don't like it. But for Lille this is massive.
And I'm glad to see more and more good looking stadiums in CL. Sick of all these old athletic.

first you criticise a "sick" joke about homicide then you proceed to make a thinly veiled racist comment on algerians in france? i'd call you a hypocrite if it weren't for the fact that i'm suprised you have any sort of grasp of geography outside of you're flawlessly constructed country.

Wow, and you really pulled up the standard of this thread, that's for sure!

Anyways, exciting with grass now. And the "multipurpose"-setup looks good!

I am just an individual, not an entire country as you seem to assume. Please do not make this about countries.

Hi, Don't you think that this idea is a little overcomplicated? It is great, but I don't see concert without replacing football pitch. And moving half of the field is not much more cheaper then just roll this whole field outside.

This stadium + rollout field outside, and seats under the whole field will make it just perfect. Hole under the filed should be a little bit dipper, so the angle of the stands will be keeped.

But still, great idea. Not perfect but great

PS. What will be the capacity for basketball games?

Nice, it does look well lit when the roof is completely retracted (I admit this was an issue for me too).

In relation to the red hydraulic rams at the side of the pitch, does anyone know if they are permanently attached to the pitch or are they removable and only sited to move the pitch? If they are permanently part of the retractable element do they remain at that height when the football pitch is in place or do they also retract down into the floor? Seems a little strange that they only appear on one side of the pitch and not the other judging by those photos

I know there seems to be more seats to go in, but do you think that the layout/width of the walkways in the bottom tier have reduced the capacity? To me, there just seems to be a lot of wasted walkway space that they could have added more seats.
