I have just talked to Nakheel about package 2a and they advised to expect two months delay. That means delivery is not going to be in November 2012 but February 2013.

Shame, I wonder why it needs to take another 8 months, from the outside anyway the villas look close to done..?

Having spoken to Nakheel, I have been told that they are still expecting package 3 to be handed over around October this year. Significant work needs to be done on cluster E villas in package 3. Lets hope for the best!

I am also a 4 bed legacy owner, and my snagging list was the same as yours re painting which pauling was going to do anyway and grouting in a few places but all in all villa was in a very good condition and I was really very pleased

Yes mate that's the plan,
Most of the villas in package 1 are locked up ready for handover
And package 2 is maybe few days behind.
Nakheel are hoping that the 2 packages will be delivered before Ramadhan as long as their is no major problem in any individual villa.

Did the de-snag, nothing had changed, the contractors were jokers. We arent too concerned about the paint and minor grouting so we signed everything off. We are pushing for handover on 3rd July with a view to moving in on 4th

If your de-snag is done, they must have handed over the keys to you.

No handover is on 3rd, but we wanted to get de-snag out of the eay prior to handover. In reality, nothing changed from snag to de-snag, but since we have removals and deliveries etc scheduled for 4th, we pushed to get the de-snag asap.
