well actually they send the message to anyone who inquires them about the tower in the online chat in the Lanco website. In the chat they ask for your email and they send the exact same message.

I thought it was approved because they gave a definite height. Never mind I think this thread can go back to sleep for atleast 2 more years.

I think I was wrong about it being approved.. Because if it had been approved recently it would have made big news locally considering the politics around it.

Actually signature tower has been scrapped long ago...they are planning to build villas instead...

No its not scrapped.... they are waiting for the prices to increase for lanco hills ... after that they are gone start the project... they are looking at 7000 sft to 8000 sft market

But this tower was announced in 2007 i guess...nearly 6 years have passed....not an inch has moved further..this might get light if property demand rises rapidly...

They never mentioned the height for me before. Mods time to append the height to the Thread Title, 604 Meters it is !

And like I mentioned before, the signature tower will target the niche segment and there is no dearth of takers for it, even if they are priced at a minimum of 10crores+ for each flat.

Ambitious yes, Impossible, No !

Really? I don't know. For me, it had the height 604 m when they sent the mail like more than a year ago! I even the posted the mail i got in this forum. probably dozens of pages before. But Atleast the tower is still in their mind and that they are not sending mails out to everyone saying that it is scrapped or something!

At a time when two of the worlds tallest skyscraper residential projects like Mumbai's India Tower (720m) and Dubai's Pentominium (516m) are on Hold for various reasons, doesn't take rocket science to understand if Lanco would take the splurge with the Signature tower in such times. If you still have not analysed the target section for the Signature tower, then you could be counted as one of those Brain Dead Grey Haired Cynics who have come here with one and only one agenda, FYI ts going to be the uber rich.

Once the curtailing situations in the City die down and the market hopefully picks up the capacity to consume, it shall come up.

Phase II of Lanco Hills has been flagged off now, lets hope the tower gets built in the third phase, till then we have nothing to do but wait.

On a positive note, Lodha Seems to be coming up with World One (445m), Mumbai in good shape, it has almost the same amount of flats as the Signature Tower, will be interesting to watch how Lodha manages to fill in the tower once it gets built. Lanco should take a cue off Lodha and set an example for itself.

bt he said tht it was an tentative news .

Oh really ? For all we know it might have been put on hold till lanco looses out some of its debt factor also AAI and Environ Ministry has not cleared atleast one Supertall Tower with 100 floors or above anywhere in the Country yet, even World one (Thread for which was started by yourself) has not received requisite permissions above 90 floors yet Construction has begun is a different matter. But Anyways the website says the same old thing that its still intact and waiting for the market to improve, texted a source at the company, shall bump this thread again when I get a reply from him.

I don't think you should write it off yet considering the markets seems to be in its nascent stages of improvement although agree Lanco is knee deep in debt, 6 years have lapsed, all we could do is to wait it out and watch for some more time before red flagging it. Well this is my opinion.
