help against abusive person on this forum

Hello. I am woppa on the international hockey forum. A problematic user who has been banned over there is posting here. That person said some really horrible stuff to me, issued death threats, very abusive emails.

This user now is posting those same threats and insults on this forum. He knows that I view the forum from time to time to look at pictures, and he identified another user who is on that hockey forum whom he also does not like.

Notice this topic here, http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...04830&page=921
you can clearly see this problematic user roki http://www.skyscrapercity.com/member.php?u=98344

In his signature he has explicitly written in serbian "LAZARE ILICU, DA BOG DA TI SVI U FAMILIJI POCRKALI STO PRE."
It translates to "Lazar Ilic, god willing that all in your family die as soon as possible".

This is indeed very abusive. He has also attacked another forum member here,

Administration, please see do what you can do to get things in order. I remind you guys of the forum rule "By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws."
He has violated that and knows very well that he did.

I am also wondering if anyone can provide some information on if it is possible to report this freak to the authorities in serbia for serious threats. He sent me many messages and many abusive emails saying he'll kill me and so forth.

Best Regards,
Lazar Ilic

I am not sure who the mods are. Could you give me their usernames/links?

This is a pretty serious and obvious infringement of forum rules. It is also quite troubling and distressing. I thought that general administrators would be able to deal with this, that moderators from sub forums are not required? At least that is how things were at all other forums that I have been at in the past. I am not sure how things work here. Surely there is some overarching authority that can patrol all the forums when needbe?

I assume you are talking about the problem in the Serbia forum. On the bottom of the front page of that forum, there are the names of the local Serbian mods, click on their names and that will take you to their profiles where you can leave them your messages.

If someone is issuing death threats then it's the police you should be talking to, not the mods. Don't know if Serbia has any specific legislation about internet trolling, but surely there is a general law - surely a death threat is a death threat regardless of how it's conveyed. In Britain, people have been sent to jail for this kind of thing.

The nice thing about this is that if we're ever sopenaed for evidence, all "deleted" posts are not actually deleted, they're just hidden from the view of the public and can be called back up easily.
