The Manggahan chapel is set in the heart of a residential area in Pasig. What's quaint about it are the floor which is of "crazy-cut" marble instead of granite tiles and the "tribuna" which is also of marble instead of carved hard wood.

Uu parang Superfriends rin ang mga utol. Hehe. Heto yung mas kamukha, Tigs.

Dahil siguro sa semicircular arch at towers pero streamline moderne ata tawag dito sa style ng Caloocan parang yung old GSIS Building sa Manila.

Ah hindi, si Federico Ilustre ang nagdesign ng GSIS building. Trends naman usually ang architectural styles. Popular yata ang art deco noon. 1950s pa kasi yang Caloocan kapilya.

Hetong sa San Juan na dinisenyo ni Juan Nakpil, streamline moderne rin...

Most of our Modern Kapilyas are based on Combined Gothic, Romanesque and Art Deco Styles and some Older features mostly Art Deco Designs fused with Gothic, Tama ba Ka. icarusrising??

That's correct as far as I know. Newer kapilyas are also arcaded. The bigger kapilyas (those with balconies) also have a carport formed by the facade itself instead of just an outstretched canopy.

Amazing shots. More picture pa hehe. From my source we have just bought a property in sydney central, a new district office. nasa North Parramatta (geographical center of Sydney and 2nd CBD) It's right next to McDonalds and the Catholic Cathedral. Kung saan daw most filipinos go and could not believe we have bought with the church seal in front of the building. Imagine the impact. I hope he can take a picture of it.
