Well, yeah, the majority of commieblocks are being renovated, but a lot of people dislike this, cause they won't last long anyway, so more and more people are advising to demolish them totally.

I noticed that Estonia does not have a thread in the General Photography forum and I find Estonia to be a beautiful country. Can an Estonian forumer please create a thread for Estonia in there, it doesn't have to be your own photo just photos you find off the internet.

I once tried to start one with my own pictures, but then I ended up with 1 page full of my pictures and nobody commenting, so I kind of gave up .

I bet your thread was on page 99 faster than anyone could fart since a couple hundred 1 GoogleFlickrCopypaste per day/postcard spam threads had appeared. Christos-Greece probably had time to say: "Amazing pics from Estonia! "

Sorry OT. This thread is tha way to go!

As soon as I manage to finish Mustamäe area. There are few more places there which I wish to visit first.

Needless to say that Nõmme (for foreigners - back in the days it used to be a whole separate town) deserves excruciating exploration

Whoa, almost 1 year since my last update!...okay,I might have to take few photos when weather clears up and finish the Mustamäe part. I'd like to keep Nõmme part for spring to give you the full positive impression of that suburb.

@ kusti - it's difficult to recommend something without knowing your budget for new camera. But in general I'd recommend choosing between Canon,Nikon & Pentax cameras. You will get a new "soapbox" for ~200€ and most of them take fairly good photos. Just be sure to google camera reviews before you rush to shop - many compact cameras have annoying flaws, which might hamper your photography experience.
If you are looking for something better, then you should save some money and go for hybrid camera (prices start from ~400€). Those are getting increasingly popular in these days and they give you good experience on using camera lens, fiddling with various photography settings etc. This is really handy if you are going to get a decent DSLR in the future. If you're not too fuzzy about camera looks (because it's ugly camera! ),then Pentax K-01 is quite good choice for limited budget - for ~600€ you get two lens and camera. Read more about it here > http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/pentax-k-01 and if you think it is for you, then you can get it from Photopoint or Faun for a decent price.
I hope this helped. If you have more questions, then send me PM.
