- "Cathedral City" -

Hey everybody, i'd like to present to you all, one of my oldest cities, sitting since 2008 in my hard drive!

Cathedral City
Pop: 1'544'230


Let's start with the reason why the city got it's name, "Lion's Cathedral", most of the old city surrounds this building:




Next i'll start to show you pictures of the main city district and it's immediate surroundings:

"Hightown" Business District:






East of the Hightown:




Eagle's Harbour, hotel destination:




The north side of the city is the most spread out part and has lost it's beauty with time, these pictures are from the Lakton district:








Moving on towards East Cathedral City:










West Cathedral City holds a vast industrial zone with various international headquarters:






And now just south of Cathedral City:


















And just on the outskirts of this metropolis, on it's outer hills, lies the amazing "Richard's Castle":





Hope you enjoyed this little "tour" of my city, i like to be imaginative, tried to vary to whole place quite alot. Appreciate any feedback

Don't usually come this far down the main menu but for some reason the title stood out at me. Very nice design by the way.

I haven't played this game since SimCity2000 with its chunky barely discernible graphics.

As you've got some landmarks like the Shard and Gherkin in there I assume you can now download specific buildings. Does it let you do your own building designs now as well?

Yes, i've downloaded most of my mods from simtropolis.com . I think you can also find tools and whatnot to make your own, never bothered to try though.

Beautiful city. Love that STEX has the Shard already. But someone definitely needs to rework the textures on that baby.

Thanks, yeah the blue texture given to it doesn't really resemble the real one, also a bit too chubby.
